Description

A small half acre  wooded island in Pirate's Cove, Little Sebago Lake, just 40 minutes from Portland, can serve as your family's Maine Island camping experience!

The island has one campsite and fire pit, large enough for 4-6 people.   A sweet 10 minute row or paddle to the mainland makes the carry in/carry out camping experience manageable enough to tempt vacationers with a preference for room service.  The island has a small sandy beach, a sandbar, loads of blueberry bushes to wander through, and plenty of space for swimming, fishing, and solitude.  The Siggy Kids will be your gracious hosts, equipping you with a boat of your choice (paddleboat, rowboat, kayak, paddleboard) for transport to the island.  In the morning, they will deliver coffee and baked goods to your campsite.  This island camping experience is cushioned by the nearby Sigfridson camp as a convenient headquarters should you need anything during your stay.

*Schedule with donor for the Summer/Fall 2016. No pets/smoking allowed.  Arrival/Departure times are flexible.
