Move 2 Change is a community studio offering youth, teens and adult classes, workshops and events where people can connect, learn & grow through classes in Yoga, Pilates, Dance and Awareness Movement.

 

Ileana’s work in the health & fitness field began as a teenager, teaching Cardio dance classes in women’s gyms. In 1990 she discovered yoga and meditation and instantly was hooked. She learned Asanas while living in an ashram in Nevada City. Ileana also lived in India for a year studying the many aspects of yoga, from the physical, to the mental, to the metaphysical. While at Poonjaji’s ashram in Lucknow she was introduced to Advaita and the lineage of Ramana Maharshi. Her yoga classes are a blend of all she has learned and continues to learn on her path as a yogini. She blends compassion (kripalu), heart opening (Anusara), oneness (Advaita), and union (tantra), into all of her classes and teachings.

She has synthesized her own brand of yoga therapy sensing into each individual client’s needs, and desired outcomes.
