Dott Jackson is a Denver native. Her first painting experience was at a “cocktails and canvas” event in 2011. After retiring, she started taking a watercolor class in 2013. She has belonged to several local art clubs and has exhibited some of her work in those art shows. She enjoys exploring ink, watercolor and acrylic and continues to develop her own style.

“Red Rhapsody” is the artist's first multi-media project. She chose to combine the music with one of her favorite things to paint, the Poppy. She is pleased with the outcome and hopes it will bring pleasure to a special patron and make some money for the Mask Project.
