Description

Rayna Wandel is a local artist from Denver, Colorado. She holds a degree in Art History from the University of Denver and has had a passion for art since she was little. When she a child Rayna would sit and draw Disney characters for hours and knew art would always remain a part of her life.  She has been privately commissioned to paint. Rayna inspirations range from art historical references and figures ranging from Impressionism through Pop Art. It’s impossible to pick just one genre that she is inspired by.  Rayna’s medium of choice is acrylics. She often incorporates her work with mixed media using materials such as plastic, wire, mirror and wood. She has participated in all of the Mask Projects and is honored to have her work displayed at this event.

Rayna’s mask is called “Happy Annie-versary” in honor of the Mask Project’s 10th Anniversary. “Annie” is a fun, colorful lady, drinking bubbly, celebrating the wonderful work and people of The Denver Hospice and the 10th Anniversary of the Mask Project. She’s happy to be at the Mask Project and wants to celebrate with you!
