Benjamin Solomon "Ben" Carson, Sr. is a retired American neurosurgeon and politician. Born in Detroit, Michigan, and a graduate of Yale University and the University of Michigan Medical School, Carson has authored numerous books on his medical career and political stances, and was the subject of a television drama film in 2009.

About the Mask Artist: Rita Campbell is a resident of Kent Village, Englewood, CO. When she retired from the University of Denver, her husband gave her a gift certificate to Judy Pratt's Painting Studio in Littleton as a Christmas present. This was her very first introduction to watercolor art and she continues training with Judy. Rita is a member of Roxborough Arts Council and a Signature Member of the Colorado Watercolor Society. She holds a BSBA Degree in Marketing from the University of Denver, is active in her community, is on the Arapahoe County 4-H Foundation Board, the Denver University Retiree Board of Directors and an officer in her P.E.O. Sorority.
