After a long and happy career in theatre education, Carolyn retired from the Denver Public Schools to pursue her original life goal: to paint. Intrigued by the versatility of water media, Carolyn's work is principally watercolor on paper. Her favorite subjects are scenes from everyday life observed here and around the world, but she enjoys visual jokes such as "Something's Fishy" shown here. Carolyn Jones Martyn is a signature member of Colorado Watercolor Society.
