A professional artist and art instructor, the work of Robin Jamison Hernandez is enjoyed in public and private art collections throughout North America and around the world. Having recently moved into the realm of Social Work, with a focus on hospice patients, Ms. Hernandez provides emotional and practical support to persons facing end-of-life issues.  Influences of medicine, transition, metamorphosis, and end-of-life are recent influences on Hernandez' work, and she hopes to help others find peace, acceptance, and healing through creative expression.

Sky Spirit embodies the connection that the artist feels with nature, and with the transformation of energy that occurs throughout the natural life cycle. This mask celebrates the innate beauty and abiding metamorphosis of life; the perpetual cycle that begins with birth, pauses at death, and is renewed through memory, reincarnation, or whatever mysteries await.
