Jackie McFarland has been active in the area art community for many years as a producing artist, instructor and mentor. She is associated with Foothills Art Center, Signature Member of Colorado Watercolor Society, Arvada Fine Arts Guild and is represented by The Sand Dollar Gallery.

Inspiration for this mask, "Pea-Cockeyed", came from the latest fad of coloring books - dark outlines of the design and filled in with color. The suggestion of "eyes" in the bird's tan feathers plus a play on words completed the design!
