Description
Jill McFarland is a Colorado native, raising her family here as well. She studied and received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Colorado State University. She attributes her artistic abilities to her mother, Jacqueline McFarland, her greatest mentor and best friend. Jill has shown her work over the years at a variety of venues such as Gilpin County Arts Association, Glenwood Springs Art Festival and the Art Depot in Littleton. Her favorite medium is acrylic and she paints on gourds creating whimsical decorative items. She is involved with the Cat Care Society of Denver.
Jill"s inspiraton for the Mask Project came from her friend's Koi pond. The colors and reflections on the water provide the serenity captured in movement of the fish.
