CWolfe Designs exclusively features the works of Cindy Wolfe. The studio was created to explore the artist’s love for unique and colorful art. Cindy was born in the Northeast, raised in the deep South, and currently resides in beautiful Niwot, Colorado. Her art reflects her background of living throughout America and her love of sports and outdoors, along with her fun and casual personality. “Art can be beautiful, meaningful, make a statement and even make you emotional. But, it can also be fun…and this is at the heart of my basic philosophy of art and design – that my work should be fun colorful and dimensional. I enjoy dimensional art, giving each piece a textural element.”

Over the years Cindy has worked with all kinds of mediums, creating pieces that are highly unique and memorable. Some of the most popular pieces are an American Flag she calls Pars and Stripes made from 188 hand painted golf balls (the stripes) and tees (the stars); DoubleTakes – lenticular art from two photographs giving a different view from different angles (highly customizable!); and varying wood designs. Having just finished a large wood project I had scads of scraps left over. The Mask I designed and created is a mosaic of Aspen, Aromatic Cedar, Cedar, Cherry, White Birch, Hackberry, Hemlock, Maple, Spalted Maple, Oak, Pine, Poplar, Redwood, Walnut, and Zebra. While slicing the wood extra thin, two knots fell out and BEHOLD the eyes magically appeared! Multiple coats of shellac enhance the natural colors and grains of the different woods.
