Becoming an artist through self-direction and exploration has its challenges... and that is what makes the learning and growing experience so much fun and rewarding. I began painting in December 2005 while living in beautiful Colorado and very quickly fell in love with the feel of the paint as it glides across whatever surface I’ve chosen as my canvas. I now reside in the middle of a forest in the beautiful state of Missouri so my love of nature continues to be satisfied every day when I look out my windows! 

Winter’s overcast days can sometimes feel heavy on our shoulders.  “Summers Joy” was created to bring bright color and smiles to our face and heart no matter the weather outside our windows.
