Maureen Donohoe is a senior citizen who paints for a hobby. This is the 3rd Mask Project entered. #1 was "Owl in Tree Trunk:"  #2 was "Malala" and now #3 is "Hedgehog in Grass" or "Giggles" as her son suggested. The mask is painted in acrylic. The subject was inspired by a garden ornament. In researching hedgehogs, I found that they can indeed have humorous looking grins, as though they are giggling.
