Robert Platz is a Denver-based & self-taught artist. Says Robert, "Before I started painting in 1991, I chose to observe the art world from a distance, observing but not participating. Then after staring at a blank canvas for over a month, I finally decided to express myself. My work is inspired by the speed, passion, and excitement of Formula 1 racing, along with other sources of day to day visuals, including items found in nature. I truly believe that deep down, we all have art inside of us in one form or another."
