Patricia Rucker moved to Colorado to become an art educator after graduating from Kansas State University. Her passion for art and education has continued after retiring from the Jefferson County Public Schools. She has been the Art Education Coordinator for Metropolitan State College in Denver, and currently teaches a “Creating a Personal Visual Language” class at Foothills Art Center in Golden. Pat created many art quilts before returning to painting. Her work is experimental, expressionistic, and is created with mixed water media. She paints in her studio in her home overlooking the foothills and Golden, Colorado. Her latest series explores dendritic forms.
