Terrey is a Colorado native, born and raised in Golden. She was selected "Most Promising Young Artist " in the Golden Fine Art Watermedia Show in 1969 and went on from there. She has won many awards in shows around Colorado and can be found at Foothills Art Center many days of the week. She is a founding member of The Painted Toe Society, has held executive positions with the Colorado Watercolor Society, and is now on the Board at Foothills Art Center. Her most avid supporters are her husband Jim, her children, Ted and Sarah, and her two grandsons, Zak and Tye.
