"Flowers of Life and Death"
My goal for this mask was to combine the floral elements, representing life, with the overall image of a skull, representing death. Both elements of the mask depend on each other- the flowers make up the skull, and the skull is made from the flowers. This symbolizes the circle of life, where life and beauty spring forth out of death and pain, and vice versa.
