Shayna McCartney is a Texas native who loves graphic design, glassblowing and taking photographs of vintage typography signs. She is active in the community as a board member of AIGA and volunteer designer for ECDC’s African Community Center.  She moved to Colorado after graduating from Texas Tech University for her love of the mountains and the city life of Denver. Her other hobbies are swimming, attending music concerts, and doing yoga. Marjorie Anderson is a professional artist and Creativity Coach. She graduated from Mills College with a degree in Fine Arts/Communications. The focus of her art work is the Human Experience. She is particularly interested in EQ- the emotional life in all is myriad expressions. She works in glass, sculpture, and paintings.  


"Tribal Dance"
This collaboration mask was done by Marjorie Anderson and Shayna McCartney. It was inspired by the native and tribal masks of Africa. The concept is that this woman is a strong leader in the tribe as symbolized by the elaborate headpiece and gold accents.
