Creations in glass made of color and light are Sharpe's specialty.  Sometime Karole uses found objects, asking us to notice the individual elements in her pieces and see the everyday objects we pass by, thus forcing us to see them in new ways. Her pieces are inspired by nature and/or the human form, a unified whole that delights and beautifies our interior spaces. Sharpe earned a BFA from University of Colorado at Denver, continued her learning at Pilchuck Glass School in Seattle and through classes locally in Colorado.   Her work may be seen at Sand Dollar Gallery in Denver, Rare Things Gallery in Creede, The Studio in Estes Park, and Sangre DeCristo Art Center in Pueblo.
