Colette Brooks is an award winning Colorado native artist. She's a graduate of the Colorado Art Institute and opened her own art business in 2003 participating in many art festivals and exhibits. "Juma the Leopard" was created out of a desire to represent all of the wild animals and create awareness of the human compassion to care for "cast away" wild animals at "The Wild Animal Sanctuary" in Keenesburg, Colorado.
