Susan Booker is the Cultural Resources Coordinator for the City of Lafayette which means she gets to dabble in public art, poetry readings, recruiting artists for galleries in city owned facilities, facilitate community awareness of cultural opportunities and preserve our history.  She worked for many years in public libraries before putting on her current hat. She’s passionate about the role all of the arts can play in bringing people together, building community, healing hurts, awakening the spirit, and making people think, dance, make changes and laugh.
