Deborah Carlson has been working with the medium of glass for over 30 years. Although mainly self taught in her field, she has studied with the best glass masters both internationally and nationally.    This in-depth education has allowed her to become extremely versed in all disciplines of glass.  She has taught in national craft and glass schools and studios, including a month long artist-in-residence in Taiwan, where she demonstrated and lectured at a national University.  Her works and commissions can be found in national and international permanent collections, museums, galleries, private residences, and public installations.  Deborah is the president of the Glass Artists of Colorado.

As for the mask....  It is a warrior mask.  It has a glass eye to ward off demons and crystals as war paint.  It is a visualization and meditation mask.
