The artist was born in Nashville, moved to Albuquerque, Santa Barbara, Colorado Springs, Guadalajara, and resides outside of the Denver area. She has a Bachelor's in Psychology and Painting, a Master's in Drawing and Painting, and partial fulfillment of a Doctor of Arts in Critical Studies.

Enjoying both representational and abstract work, the artist is currently using mixed media to walk the line between. Many pieces reside in over 80 public and private collections.

Inspiration comes from the Life Sciences, teaching of all ages, creative writing, Open Studio Artists Group, and a unique wonderful family.
