Jonny Chavez is a 21 year old Colorado native. She was born in Fruita, Colorado and raised in Arvada. This talented artist is not a huge painter but has been doing colored pencil work since she was 11 and realized her passion early on. From time to time, Chavez experiments with new materials and products and has found an interest in jewelry making, sewing, and crochet as well. She states, "the style of art I make is solely based on drawing the moods I feel when listening to different genres of music from funk to oldies and anything in between.”
