About the Mask Artist: Desirae Lovato has a BA in Fine Arts and Education. The base of the mask is the Colorado State flag with the Rocky Mountains forming the eyebrows and forehead. The state bird, the Lark Bunting, is soaring over the left cheek. The eyes are reflecting the scene because she is a Colorado Native. My home will always be in Colorado and where my heart is, and I hope this mask reflects that.
