About the Artist

"Born and raised in New Orleans, Louisana, I am a self- taught artist with training in drama, in music and in languages. I love to bring characters to life mixing reality and imagination. My work is collected internationally and is exhibited at Berta's and Mina's Antiquities Gallery in New Orleans."

Artist Statement

My work celebrates our unique way of life in New Orleans Louisana, and our beloved second line, our dance of love, joy, peace and hope. This dance is our way of life, a dancing through adversity which I incorporate in my work by using bright colors, original songs. My people, animals, and trees dance through good and bad. They tell stories, laugh and cry and invite all to dance with them. The Antique Louisiana architecturals I use in my work help me to bridge the past and present, the classic and the funky, to create a timeless treasure.
