About Steve:
Steve Zissis is a writer, producer, director and actor. He is a Jesuit High School alum (’94) who studied acting at NYU and puppetry at The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center.
Steve, aka Stavros, was best known in New Orleans as the lead in several plays directed by Sonny Borey and was an original member of the now defunct band
Blueberry Jam.
Steve Zissis is close friends with Mark and Jay Duplass and has performed in a number of their films, such as
Baghead and
Jeff Who Lives at Home. Steve currently plays Alex on the HBO show “Togetherness,” which he co-wrote with the Duplass Brothers.
Zissis will be starring in a comedy called “The House” with Will Ferrell and Amy Poehler, being released in 2017.
