Title & Artist: "Outer Banks" – by Misty Wykes
Medium & Size: Acrylic paint, metallic paints, glitter paint, and high gloss on wood. 21 7/8" L x 8 5/8" H x 3/4" D. For indoor display only.
Artist Statement: I love working with acrylic mediums. For my Cod I used acrylic paint, mixed in with metallic paints and a high gloss to give the effect that the Cod is swimming through the water. I also mixed in a glitter paint to make it look like the sun is reflecting off the fish.
Artist Biography: Misty's art allows her to express her passion for color, texture, and spontaneity, all of which are in evident display in her pieces. Misty draws inspiration from the varied and vibrant places where she has lived and worked throughout her life. Growing up in Palm Beach, Florida, and then living in Manhattan Beach, California; London, England; and now Marblehead have all contributed to her love for color and artistic expression.
Following her graduation from the KLC School of Design in Chelsea, West London, Misty began to experiment with various mediums of paint to achieve the richness of depth that can be found in her art. Today she uses a variety of materials for an extraordinary effect and complex expression.

Special Instructions
Pick-up of purchased cods will be on Tuesday evening, July 5. Winning bidder will receive a notification email with information on pick-up time and location.
If winning bidder requires shipping, winner's credit card will be charged a separate $24.95 fee to cover USPS ground and handling. Shipping is available within the U.S. only and must be requested within 7 days after receipt of the notification email.
Any cod purchased via "Buy Now" will remain on display at the hosting business through the end of the auction, and will be available for pick-up as detailed in the winning bidder notification email.
If winning bidder has not picked up cod (or provided shipping address) within 30 days after the close of the auction, cod will become the property of Marblehead Festival of Arts, Inc.
