Description

This is a wonderful collection of 148 old New York City postcards published from 1901 to 1930 (the majority of these postcard were published 1905-1915).

Each postcard is different!  Pictured here are:  Old Waldorf-Astoria Hotel at 34th Street (which was torn down to build Empire State Building); 23rd Street Shopping District; Broadway looking North of 33rd Street; Bowery showing Elevated Subway; Hester Street; Coney Island Luna Park; Fifth Avenue showing Horses and Buggies; New York Skyline from Jersey City; Pell Street Chinatown; Williamsburg Bridge Approach; 1904 Postcard of Union Square West and Park (before Union Square Park was raised above street level); Fifth Avenue and 42nd Street showing Public Library (when Fifth Avenue was a two-way street).

These pictures are just a small representation of the variety of great New York scenes depicted in this collection of 148 1901-1930 postcards.  All 148 postcards are in protective plastic sleeves in an album, and all the postcards in this collection are in either very good or excellent condition.  Those that were mailed were mailed between 1904 and 1926, but many of these were never mailed.

Here is a chance to own a large postcard collection showing old New York history!
