Susan Bernfield, founder and producing artistic director of New Georges has produced and developed new plays by early-career and experimental playwrights (who are women) since 1992. She has received an OBIE Award and the LILLY Award for producing.

She will read a draft of a new play at any stage of development and meet with the winner in a two hour session.
