Tess & Carlos was founded by Tess Enright and Carlos Pava in 1995, in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

The store began out of their recognition that there was a need for women to buy excellently constructed and tailored clothing in a store that focused on personal service. Selecting from the most exclusive as well as up-and-coming European and American brands, Tess and Carlos reinvented the women’s clothing store in the Boston metropolitan area.

After nearly two decades in business, Tess & Carlos has expanded from their first Harvard Square store and now includes additional locations in Beverly Farms, Concord, Weston, Pittsford, NY, and Tiverton, RI.
