Description

Here's an interesting auction item!!Pair of Belgian Bearded Mille Fleur d'Uccle Bantam Chickens - $50 Value

A breeder-quality Cockeral and a Pullet, both hatched Spring 2016.

This is a true bantam breed, meaning it has no standard sized parent breed, and they have full beards and muffs along with their feathered feet, and it's those features along with their beautiful color patterns that make this breed such a joy to own as well as a success at poultry shows.

Belgian Bearded d'Uccle Bantams are a sweet and showy backyard bird, and the beautiful Mille Fleur variety color consists of a ground color of mahogany, with each feather marked with a crescent shaped bar of black and tipped with a V-shaped white spangle. The true coloring does not usually appear until the first adult molt.

The Belgian Bearded d'Uccle Chicken is a good layer of small bantam sized white eggs. These birds have an excellent docile disposition and tender personalities, which make then a champion for youth chicken showmanship.  Offered by Shamrock Farm of Mendon.
