Funds raised for the One Life Fund will be used to help community cats that do not fall under Shadow Cats direct scope of care. This fund is to assist cats that Shadow Cats does not take medical responsibility for, but assists others who do. These funds are paid to non-profits, individuals and veterinary clinics with receipts. Maximum paid is generally $50-$250 per cat and only as we have funds available.

We also use pledged funds for feral or community cats that are turned into kill shelters to enable them to be returned- sterilized and vaccinated- to their former colonies. Cats on euthanasia lists receive pledges which helps Rescues that save them afford the veterinary costs necessary.

These funds help cats like Aries from Coppers Cat Commune, Stevie from House of Meows and scores more. Please see a complete list on our FB page on the left side of the page.  We average $800-$1000 that Shadow Cats sends to other rescues to help cats in critical need.
