Constituting America is so very proud of Gary Sinise and the work he is doing for America and for our veterans! We honor him and have immense gratitude for his friendship and support of Constituting America!
"2016 will mark the fourteenth anniversary of American Airlines Sky Ball and it will be the best yet. American Airlines, Barclaycard, Bell Helicopter, Budweiser, PSAV, Skyline Sector 5, One Hope Wine, the Westin DFW Hotel, and Greyhound are just a few of the Patriotic Companies and Organizations to support American Airlines Sky Ball and make a difference for many deserving charities that support our Veterans, the men and women that wear the cloth of the Nation and their families.
We are especially excited to have The Dallas Fort Worth International Airport as a presenting sponsor for this marquee event. The DFW Airport has long been a gateway for those that serve in the Armed Forces of the United States and their families and as the home for American Airlines Sky Ball, DFW will continue to serve as an ambassador in support of those whose sacrifice reminds us every day that Freedom is not Free.
In addition to the Black Tie Gala on Saturday, there will be a free concert on Friday for military family members. On Thursday, along with the Non Commissioned Officers Association, The Airpower Foundation will host a Career Expo, to facilitate employment, education, vocational, and other resources to Veterans and their families."
The Mission of Lt. Dan Band's Concerts:
"Honor. Gratitude. Rock & Roll. That’s the mission of every Lt. Dan Band concert. There’s something for everyone as the 12-member group covers hits from Stevie Wonder to Kelly Clarkson, Adele to the Zac Brown Band and everything in between. Whether boosting morale on military bases at home and abroad or raising awareness at benefit concerts across the country, the band entertains, educates, inspires and builds communities with explosive live shows everywhere it goes."

American Airlines Sky Ball XIII in Review
American Airlines Sky Ball XIII, in support of the Airpower Foundation, held its most successful Sky Ball event to date! The Foundation has set a new fundraising record of $2.2 million dollars, which will provide much needed support to our nation's military, veterans and their families.
The organization hosted 3 days of events honoring our nation's military and supporting local schools through educational outreach programs. On Thursday, the Foundation was proud to partner with the Medal of Honor Foundation to present the annual Bob Hope Award Gala at the Westin DFW Airport Hotel. The event raised $150,000 for the Medal of Honor Foundation. A career expo sponsored by the Non Commissioned Officers Association (NCOA) was held on Friday to provide jobs to our nation's veterans and transitioning military members. The Medal of Honor Foundation also provided a workshop on Friday morning for local to share their character development program, which teaches students the importance of citizenship and patriotism. Additionally, 3,000 students attended the Aviation Expo held in conjunction with our partner DFW International Airport at American Airlines Hangar #5 and the C.R. Smith Museum. On Friday evening, thanks to Budweiser, we hosted a free concert for our military, their families, and our volunteers featuring Pitbull and Terry Fator. The food was provided by Sysco and cooked by Chef Robert Irvine and his culinary team! The 3-day program culminated with the Sky Ball Gala which honored our service men who served during the Vietnam era. A branch of Service salute was also provided for the United States Air Force. The evening included a special recognition of our Vietnam Veterans in attendance with a pin presentation provided by the DOD 50th Anniversary Vietnam commemorative program. Legendary entertainer, Tony Orlando, wooed the audience with "Tie a Yellow Ribbon around the Old Oak Tree", and Neil Diamonds, "America".
"Gary Sinise and the Lt. Dan Band closed the evening in style, as everyone danced the night away!"
"The Airpower Foundation would like to sincerely thank all of our sponsors, guests, and over 1,500 volunteers who assisted to make the event possible. We salute you all, and look forward to American Airlines Sky Ball XIV to be held on October 22, 2016 when we will salute the men and women who comprise the United States Special Operations!"
