Description

#LuftAuto is a piece that married passion and adventure. This piece envokes the very emotions felt listening to an air-cooled 911 sweep through corners or greet you in the morning with its rowdy purr. #LuftAuto asks you to honor your desire for out-right thrill and joy. The texture on this custom piece will speak to you from any angle in the room and be the subtle reminder of what life is all about. #LuftAuto, a timeless statement piece for your home or office and a one of one original piece.

Everyone has seen a 911, a subtle machine that does not stand out from the crowd, but this 911 is a beast ready to tackle the dirt backroads or shock public at the Whole Foods parking lot.

The Porsche 911 is a sports car icon, winning on racetracks around the world since it was introduced in 1964. Most people don't know that the 911 was also an accomplished rally car as well. In 2016 Patrick Long and Howie Idelson organizers of Luftgekuhlt, an air-cooled Porsche gathering, decided to honor that rally heritage for a great cause. So they gathered the very best in the air-cooled industry, Joey Seely at Emotion Engineering did the overall build, mechanical upgrades and suspension overhaul, while Rod Emory of Emory Motorsports headed up the design, fabrication and fitment of the rally-style bumpers and underbody skid-plates. John Benton and the team at Benton Performance did electronics and wiring, with Carby Tuckwell of Deus Ex Machina for custom details.

This original art piece was done to honor both the heritage of the 911 and the amazing community of the Luftgekuhlt Culture.
