Mr. D'z Route 66 Diner is one of the most popular and famous restaurants on Route 66. This 50's era diner and the Museum are within walking distance of each other on the famous Mother Road, Route 66. The Museum is housed in the restored Santa Fe Railroad depot, built in 1907. In addition to its railroad artifacts and memorabilia collections, the Museum features three model railroad layouts in operation daily as well as ceiling to floor observation windows for watching the real BNSF trains speed by.
The Kingman Railroad Museum was created and is operated by the volunteers of the Whistle Stop Railroad Club. The Museum is totally self-supporting through its admission fees and donations.
