This book deals with Eino's sculptures beautifully shaped marbles. He discovered that fantastic inner pressures are relieved when marble is carved and this living matter becomes flexible and willing to adapt itself to new shapes. As Eino says, rocks are born from earth's womb, and have within their own life force which calls for a dynamic relationship between sculptor and rock. This is a signed copy by the artist.
