Mickey Mantle is widely known as one of the greatest baseball players of all time. After spending his entire career with the New York Yankees, Mantle is also regarded to be the best switch hitter to ever to play the game. He won the Triple Crown in 1956 leading the MLB in batting average, home runs and RBIs, plus Mantle appeared in 12 World Series, taking the ultimate championship seven times. When he retired, Mantle recorded 536 homeruns and marked his place in the record books for life.
