Michael's Bonny Doon History...
Regarding my family history with Bonny Doon School, we lived next door to Roy Rydell near the intersection of Martin and Pine Flat Road from 1956 through 1963. My family sold the property to the Page Smith family in 1963. My brothers and sisters all attended that great school when it was one room and taught by Howard Hazeltine and his wife. My siblings have long since moved out of state and live in Colorado, Oregon and Washington. You know the saying; you can take the boy out of the country, but you can’t take the country out of the boy! I suppose that is precisely what happened to all five of us kids!
