Eric Steven Weddle is a free safety for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Utah, where he was a consensus All-American. He was drafted by the San Diego Chargers in the second round of the 2007 NFL Draft.
Weddle is considered to be one of the best safeties in the NFL. He has been named to the Pro Bowl three times, and has been honored as an All-Pro five times.
