A non-profit organization formed in 1977 for the purpose of collecting and preserving materials pertinent to the history of Great Barrington. The historical Society also manages the Truman Wheeler Farmstead on South Main Street in Great Barrington, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Visit the Wheeler House on Sunday afternoons in the summer season.
