Jeff Runquist Wines of Plymouth, CA has donated a bottle of their award winning wines, signed by the winemaker, Jeff Runquist.
2014 'Z' Zinfandel__Massoni Ranch, Amador County. Sue Fox, grower; Jeff Runquist, Vintner.
This was Jeff Runquist's 'flagship' wine, when he first started producing wine under his own label. Century old vines provide a unique intensity to Z's flavor of ripe blackberry and raspberry.
Item includes two Runquist 'R' logo Riedel wine glasses.
Special Instructions
All of Jeff's wines share a theme of fresh fruit reflective of the varietal flavors inherent in the grapes. Jeff selects grapes from vineyard the provide rich full flavors without loads of astringent tannins. "We work hard to produce balanced wines. Wines that will age and bacome more complex with time, but wines that can also be enjoyed in their youth."
Jeff produces wines from grapes grown throughout California. Most of these wines are produced in very small quantities.
