This beautiful lamp is 26" tall and has a clear chimney and milk glass shade. It has a standard size socket and takes a 3-way bulb. Since the bulb, itself, is not really visible with the shade in place, this lamp would possibly accommodate a CFL bulb. (See photo with shade removed).
