“Creativity has always been a part of my life. Drawing was already a passion at primary school. Later on sewing cloths, knitting, stitching and quilting was added to my interests.
Then I discovered mosaic, which I can combine with my love for drawing. Also applying different materials attracts me. Making something very subtle with hard and rigid materials like glass and ceramics is a challenge to me. Now I like it that much that I feel a certain urge/need to make mosaics. Mostly figurative.”
