“I love the alchemy of creating art from what others have discarded.
Each mosaic I create is an environmental statement; I've collected broken pieces, fragments of this and that, plus a variety of found/scrap bits which I assemble to surprise people with the hidden beauty of trash.
I hope all who see my work will think about what is recyclable and take actions to protect our environment.

Trained in mechanical drafting and design, I am a mostly self-taught artist. Over the years I’ve developed my own style using corrugated paper as a substrate, and incorporating glass, stones, found objects and electronic components. Some 95% to 99% of my art materials are recycled.”
