Tony Hadley rose to fame in the 1980s as the soulful lead singer of the new wave band, Spandau Ballet, which enjoyed international success with hits like True, Gold, and Through the Barricades.

Hadley has also enjoyed success as a solo artist, and performed alongside a variety of artists including Joe Cocker, Alice Cooper, Jon Anderson, Brian May, Alan Parsons, and others. He played the title role in "Jesus Christ Superstar," opposite Roger Daltrey's Judas.

With his powerful blue-eyed soul voice, Hadley has been characterized as a "top crooner" by the BBC and as a "dramatic warble" by AllMusic.
