Perfect, from the decor/ambiance and friendly vibe to the insanely delicious food (I had the Craw Mac with Shrimp & House Sausage, my friend had the Fish n Chips Po' Boy). The grocery area and the turning book rack selling "Vintage Sleaze" pulp fiction and the farmed B-movie posters (Alligator People, Louisiana Hussy) key you in on just how effortlessly cool this place is, too. So so good. I lived in New Orleans for a bit, and this is as authentic as it gets above sea level... I had the Half and Half Po' Boy and it was amazing. Crispy breaded shrimp and oysters with just the right amount of mayo and cabbage that added a nice crunch.
