You and 6 guests will join Father Armando in the rectory for a culinary journey through the different regions of the Philippines. Encounter a taste of Philippine cuisine coming from the bustling city of Manila in the north to the very exotic Palawan, an archipelago in the Philippines and voted the “Best Island in the World” twice (2015 and 2016). Experience comforting and pleasing cuisine influenced by Malay, Chinese and Spanish cooking. The evening will conclude with a mini concert featuring Father Armando himself! Dinner includes wine, Filipino beer and special souveniers. Mabuhay!


 


Menu includes: Appetizer - Lumpia (Filipino pork spring rolls), Soup - Sotanghon con caldo (Chinese influenced dish of mung bean noodles & broth), Pancit - Pancit Bihon (Stir fry noodles with vegetables), Chicken Adobo - Chicken stew in vinegar, soy sauce and garlic, Pinakbet - Vegetable Stew in fish sauce, Bistek - Beef tenderloin in lemon, soy sauce and onion, Beef Mechado - Braised beef and stewed in tomato paste with potatoes, carrots and sweet bell peppers, Bicol Express - Slices of pork meat cooked with coconut milk, shrimp past and chili pepper, Leche Flan - Eggs, milk and sugar, Ube Halaya - Taro, coconut milk and sugar
