Think of it, 50 years after the Yanks land in France to rescue it from captivity, the Yanks land in France to captivate it. It was an impressive political, industrial and military event to build up a force strong enough to assault Normandy in the 2nd World War.  It was an impressive political, industrial and cultural event to build up enough structure and promotion to assault Marne-la-Vallee in the '90s.  D-Day had arrived.
In the three years to the Resort opening, thousands of Walt Disney Imagineering (WDI) and other Disney employees went to France for construction of the Disneyland Park and the hotels and infrastructure. But part of the agreement was that local and European construction teams be used.  Not only that but the call went up all through Europe to hire and train cast members in The Disney Way.
And all these new Disney employees and their families went through the usual park birthing pains, just like Disneyland, Walt Disney World and Tokyo Disneyland and came out melded into a determined Happy force. This is their Birthday Celebration.

This package is made up of items that an EDL Cast Members could purchase from the Company Store during the first few months after opening.  Some of the original price tags were left on the items for the collector's benefit.

(These are items that were available for the cast members on opening day at Euro Disney. The donor took a Disney Employee Disney Vacation Package tour of France, Paris and Euro Disney in October 1992 (6 months after Opening Day) to experience it first hand. The donor was the only Imagineer on this Disney Employee tour and suggested that they stop off on their park tour at the Employee Store at Euro Disney before being released for the day of fun. That is where the donor got most of the items here.)
