Beginner Belay Lesson:

Prerequisites: must be 14 years or older

The belay lesson teaches you to manage the ropes for the climber on our taller walls (called belaying). A beginner belay lesson includes gear rental (shoes and harness) and one day pass. At the end of class, students will receive a temporary belay card so they can continue to climb and belay for the rest of the day! To earn a permanent belay card, each person will need to come back on a separate day and take our belay test (no reservation necessary-- however, during busy hours, there might be a wait to take the test.
