Steep Bank Pool

I arrived at Steep Bank Pool just before sunset. I thought, “I’ll just sit, watch and listen.” Suddenly, there was no mistaking, the sound of a fish breaking the surface. That which excites all fishermen. I saw it, a jumping trout caught in the last rays of sunlight by my mind’s eye. The evening was complete.

David A. Footer spent a lifetime preserving other people’s memories via his outstanding ability to reproduce exactness of color in fish mounting.
